There have been some outstanding catches during the group stages of The Hundred but here are a few that caught the eye.
Matt Parkinson V London Spirit
This take won the Play of the Day vote for August 10 and deservedly so. Parkinson leapt off the ground to take a stunning one-handed overhead catch to dismiss the dangerous Adam Rossington. To top it off, he went racing off in celebration. Catch him if you can!
Katherine Brunt V Manchester Originals
Though the Olympics may be over, Brunt would have certainly won gold with this amazing dive. She not only stopped a boundary, but dismissed Emma Lamb with a fantastic catch too.Â
Phil Salt V Birmingham Phoenix
Stopping a six when mid-air is impressive enough, but how about stopping a six over the boundary, throwing it back in and comfortably catching it? That is exactly what Salt did for the Originals to dismiss Chris Benjamin, who looked sure of hitting a six.Â
Erin Burns V Welsh Fire
As a bowler, there’s few things harder than stopping a ball that is being hit right back at you. But not only did Burns stop it going down the ground, she took a sharp return catch to dismiss Georgia Redmayne from her own bowling.Â
Tom Lammonby V Oval Invincibles
Talk about setting the standards high. Lammonby took this amazing diving catch in the first ever Men's Competition match. He even managed to stumble as he celebrated the wicket of the dangerous Jason Roy, who can turn a game on its head.Â
Lauren Winfield-Hill V Birmingham Phoenix
If you want to see some fantastic keeping then look no further than this take by Winfield-Hill. It may not have resulted in a wicket but it saved some certain runs. She managed to follow the ball through Evelyn Jones' legs, onto the legside and deny it running away with a brilliant diving catch. Take a bow!
