Laura Wolvaardt

Young opening batter with experience far beyond her years. Not a power hitter but will time the ball to perfection. Has already featured in more than 80 matches for South Africa. Named as her country's Under-19 cricketer of the year when she was just 13. Top of her class at school and turned down an offer at medical school to pursue cricket - she studies life sciences with physiology and genetics through long-distance learning.
