Collingwood and Dernbach join as Spirit Men assistant coaches

London Spirit is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Collingwood and Jade Dernbach as Assistant Coaches for the men’s team in the upcoming season.

The pair will work under Head Coach Trevor Bayliss to round out a staff packed with knowledge and experience.

Collingwood, who worked with Bayliss during his time at England, is one of the country’s most successful white-ball players, and has already proved himself an innovative coach on the international circuit. Dernbach, who was part of the Spirit set-up as a player in 2021, has represented both England and Italy during his career, and has been a coach with Surrey and Middlesex since retiring.

Speaking about the new appointments, London Spirit General Manager, Fraser Stewart said:

"We are thrilled to have Paul and Jade join our coaching staff for the men’s team. Both of them bring a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, and we truly believe that we are building a world class set-up here at Lord’s. I have no doubt that they will have a positive impact on the players and contribute to the success of the team."

Also joining the coaching team is Essex’s Strength and Conditioning Coach Harry McQueen.
