One brand new competition

It all got started back in July with the Oval Invincibles and Manchester Originals. What a night it was! A brilliant introduction for The Hundred from one of the teams who went on to win the competition. Were you there? Take a look back and what happened.

Two teams winning

With both the Women's and Men's Competitions running together, we had a final day out at Lord's which saw two teams lift the first ever The Hundred trophies. Southern Brave were represented in both finals. They took on the Oval Invincibles Women and Birmingham Phoenix Men. Catch up on the highlights now!

It was a summer of music at The Hundred and each of our 68 matches featured live performers. We teamed up with BBC Music Introducing to form the biggest sport and music collaboration in UK history. Here's just a few of those performances.

We've seen what the best sight in cricket for a bowler is, but what about the batters? We think it's seeing the ball sail over the boundary rope. With the fast pace of The Hundred, we saw plenty big hitting throughout the competition. 

11 batter helmet cams

One of the new features of The Hundred was the batter cam, giving everyone at home the ultimate viewing experience. Ever wondered what it's like to face the bowling of Marizanne Kapp or smash Chris Jordan for a six? Well, now you can put yourself in the shoes of the batter!

12 top plays

For each day of The Hundred, we had a fan vote for 'Play of the Day'. Then, our 'Play of the Competition' vote helped determine what the best moment from the year was. For our final day of the 12 Days of Christmas, here's the top 12 plays of the competition, ending with Kalea Moore's bowled wicket, which won the overall vote!
