Here are all the head coaches confirmed. They will be selecting their teams very soon. The men's Head Coaches in The Hundred Draft - Live on 20 October. The women's head coaches via a bespoke selection process. Get excited. The Hundred is on its way.

BIRMINGHAM PHOENIX

ANDREW MCDONALD — MEN'S HEAD COACH

One of the most successful current domestic coaches. The first coach to win three Australian trophies in a season since the Big Bash League launched. He led Melbourne Renegades to the Big Bash in 2019. His Victoria won the Australian four-day competition, the Sheffield Shield. And the One-Day Cup. Victoria also won the Sheffield Shield under him in 2017.

BEN SAWYER — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH

A two-time Women's Big Bash League winner with Sydney Sixers. His team has never missed a final. Charged with bringing the best from stellar names such as Alyssa Healy and Ellyse Perry. He also coached Australia's bowlers at the 2018 World Cup.

SHANE WARNE — MEN'S HEAD COACH

The legendary Australian leg-spinner. More than 20 years of playing experience. One of Wisden’s five Cricketers of the 20th Century. Over 1,000 international wickets. A World Cup winner as a player. Seven Ashes series victories. Famously captain-coach when Rajasthan Royals won the first Indian Premier League title.

TREVOR GRIFFIN — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH 

Wealth of experience. A two-time Kia Super League winning coach with Western Storm. League finalists ever year since its inception. Orchestrator of the most successful team in league. Recently announced Sydney Thunder head coach in the WBBL. Worked as an assistant coach for New Zealand's men's team. Previously coached London Spirit women's captain Heather Knight.

SIMON KATICH — MEN’S HEAD COACH

Nearly a decade playing for Australia. Racking up 56 Tests and over 4,000 runs. Cricket Australia’s Men’s Test Player of the Year in 2010. Seven stints playing in England. He captained Perth Scorchers to Big Bash League success in 2014. Spent time as assistant coach at Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League.

DARREN LEHMANN — MEN'S HEAD COACH

A coach with a decade of experience. He won the Indian Premier League with Deccan Chargers in his first season. Australia’s head coach for five years. A playing career lasting two decades. More than 14,000 runs scored for Yorkshire in seven seasons. He won two trophies at Yorkshire. And he scored nearly 5,000 runs for Australia.

DANIELLE HAZELL — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH

A World Cup winner with England in 2017. Formerly the number one T20I bowler in the world. More than 140 international appearances under her belt. Experience playing in the Women’s Big Bash League for Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Stars. In 2019, she became head coach of Yorkshire Diamonds in the Kia Super League.

TOM MOODY — MEN'S HEAD COACH

Once an imposing all-rounder for Australia and Worcestershire. Now one of the most experienced and successful coaches in the game. He led Sri Lanka to a World Cup final. And masterminded Sunrisers Hyderabad's 2016 IPL win.

LYDIA GREENWAY — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH

As a player she won the Ashes five times for England. In 2009 she won both the ICC Women’s World Cup and Women’s World T20. Her coaching journey began in 2016 - and she has emerged as a passionate developer of young players for county and country.

SOUTHERN BRAVE

MAHELA JAYAWARDENA — MEN'S HEAD COACH

An all-time great of world cricket. He won the 2014 World Twenty20 with Sri Lanka. And he was a finalist for the 2007 and 2011 Cricket World Cups. Captained his country over a nine-year period from 2004 to 2013. Scored over 10,000 runs each in Tests and One-Day Internationals. Won the Indian Premier League as head coach of Mumbai Indians in 2017 and 2019.

CHARLOTTE EDWARDS — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH

Captained England to a Women’s World Cup and Women’s T20 World Cup double in 2009. A five-time Ashes winner. Three of those as captain. She made a record 309 appearances for her country. Named one of Wisden’s Cricketers of the Year in 2014. Led Southern Vipers to the inaugural Kia Super League title in 2016. She is now Director of Women’s Cricket at Hampshire.

STEPHEN FLEMING — MEN'S HEAD COACH

One of the most tactically brilliant minds in world cricket. The most successful Indian Premier League coach. Three titles with Chennai Super Kings. Experience in the Big Bash League. A New Zealand legend as a player and captain. New Zealand's most capped Test and One-Day International captain. Nearly 400 matches played for his country. More than 15,000 runs scored for New Zealand.

SALLIANN BRIGGS — WOMEN'S HEAD COACH

An impressive English coach. Coached Loughborough Lightning in the Kia Super League from 2016 to 2018. Took them to Finals Day in 2016 and 2018. She's the current coach of Hobart Hurricanes in the Women's Big Bash League. And she played over 100 matches for Yorkshire.

GARY KIRSTEN — MEN’S HEAD COACH

International coaching pedigree with India and South Africa. The 2011 men’s World Cup winning coach. Experience coaching in the Big Bash League and the Indian Premier League. The Durban Heat head coach. More than 100 Test matches played for South Africa. A titan of international cricket with over 16,000 runs.
