The Hundred Auction player longlist revealed

Over 400 players will be available in The Hundred Auction on 11 and 12 March.

The longlist for The Hundred Auction have been revealed, with the likes of Joe Root, Davina Perrin, Nadine de Klerk and Shaheen Shah Afridi set to go under the hammer at Piccadilly Lights on 11 and 12 March.

With nearly 1,000 players registering themselves for consideration for the Auction, the eight men's and women's teams were required to nominate up to 100 players they'd be interested in purchasing. Any player with at least one nomination has been included on the longlists.

In the women's Auction, 178 players will go up for sale including international stars such as Tammy Beaumont, scorer of the first century in The Hundred women's competition, and India all-rounder Deepti Sharma, who struck the winning runs for London Spirit in the 2024 tournament.

The men's Auction will feature 247 players, with 2025 MVP Jordan Cox up for grabs, as well as stars of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup like Finn Allen and Aiden Markram.

Fifty of the biggest name players have been picked out of each longlist and will be involved in Phase 1 of the Auction, with the remainder of the longlist, and those unsold in Phase 1, featuring in Phases 2 and 3.
