What is The Hundred?
The Hundred is an action-packed, unmissable, 100-ball cricket competition that will put you on the edge of your seat. Everyone is welcome.
The Hundred Explained
It features world-class players and massive names from around the world. Eight city-based teams, created specifically for The Hundred, will compete over five weeks every summer.
Each team has a men's and women's squad, with the two competitions running alongside each other.
With only 100 balls per side every ball will be crucial in The Hundred
When does it start?
The Hundred will start on Tuesday 21 July 2026, with MI London facing SunRisers Leeds at the Kia Oval. View all the fixtures here.
Which teams are playing?
Eight teams compete in The Hundred. Those teams are:
- Birmingham Phoenix (Edgbaston)
- London Spirit (Lord's)
- Manchester Super Giants (Emirates Old Trafford)
- MI London (The Kia Oval)
- Southern Brave (Utilita Bowl)
- SunRisers Leeds (Headingley)
- Trent Rockets (Trent Bridge)
- Welsh Fire (Sophia Gardens)

What happened in 2025?
Northern Superchargers (now SunRisers Leeds) won the Women's Competition, while Oval Invincibles (now MI London) won the Men's Competition for a third year in a row.

Players for the men's and women's teams were selected in an auction in 2026.
