What is The Hundred Team Competition?

The Hundred Team Trophy

A new trophy to celebrate the team whose men's and women's squads perform best across the whole tournament.

How it works

Every match win is worth four points - group games, the Eliminator and the Final. Points from the men's and women's competitions are added together into a single team total. The team with the most points at the end of the season lifts the trophy.

There are four bonus points on offer for the men's and women's squads that top the group stages skipping the Eliminator and heading straight to the Final. With both men's and women's competitions in play, a team could collect up to eight bonus points.

If two teams finish level on Trophy points, the team with a squad that won a Final will win. If both, or neither, won a Final, the next tie-breakers are most finalists and then combined net run rate.

Why it matters

It's a celebration of the full team. The Hundred has always put men's and women's cricket on equal footing and the Team Trophy celebrates the team that invests in and develops both squads.

Who would have won in 2025?

Northern Superchargers (now SunRisers Leeds) would have lifted it. They finished level on points with Southern Brave, but the Headingley team edged it thanks to their women's competition victory.
